Designed by Del Webb, homes in Terravita range in size from 1,400 to over 3,700 square feet, and are priced between $400k and over $900k. The developer has been sold out of new homes since 1997, and therefore only resale homes are available. While these are older homes, many have undergone modernizing upgrades and renovations. The golf course and surrounding desert offer glorious views.
In 1998, the members purchased the once-public golf course, turning it into a private club. The 7,186 yard championship course was designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash and has a rating of 74.4 and a slope of 139 from the championship tees.
There is a large two-way driving range, and as well as chipping and putting greens. The Golf Membership fee is $37,500 with 80% equity. The monthly Golf Membership dues are $337 for a single, $406 for a couple or $488 for a family.
All homeowners are required to pay the $123 per month "Country Club/Social" membership dues, in addition to the monthly Homeowners Association dues of $59 (both are billed on a quarterly basis). Membership in the Club is not included in your home purchase.
