Hidden Hills is one of the most popular and newer communities in Northeast Scottsdale, consisting of custom and semi-custom homes. The semi-custom homes were built by a long-time valley builder, Golden Heritage, and are perfect for the discriminating home buyer who wants a custom home with all the luxury amenities but in a manageable size. Some of the special features that make the Golden Heritage homes so popular are some of the most unique floorplans I've seen, featuring private courtyards and great room style living. The first homes were completed in 2001 and the last semi-custom homes were completed in 2006, although building continues in the custom home neighborhoods. About two thirds of the homes are in a gated neighborhood, but the whole area has only one-way access, which makes for a safer-than-normal area. In addition, many of the homes back up to NAOS (Natural Area Open Space) or to the McDowell Mountain Preserve.
